2027 Girls U8 - U18 Expressions of Interest Information and registration

Ipswich Knights is inviting girls from U8–U18 to register their interest in joining our Female Football Program for the 2027 season!

Our aim is to provide a fun, friendly and supportive environment where young female footballers can develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy their football.

The program will follow an academy-style approach, underpinned by our club-wide Player Development Framework, with a focus on quality coaching, individual development and creating a clear pathway for girls at Ipswich Knights.

Our Academy Ambitions

While Ipswich Knights does not currently hold a Football Queensland Girls Academy Licence, we are actively working towards achieving this.

Our focus is on building a program that meets the standards expected of an FQ Academy, including a structured Player Development Framework, quality coaching, clear pathways and ongoing player support.

By establishing these foundations now, we’re taking important steps towards our long-term ambition of providing a recognised Girls Academy pathway at Ipswich Knights.
